Select the Right Basket for Growing Snake Plant
Choose a 6-8 inches wide hanging basket for planting a snake plant (Sansevieria ballyi). This size is perfect for little plants for some initial years. After that, you can go for a 10-12 inches basket. A key rule to follow is always to choose a wide basket. Also, make sure the basket has good drainage. How to Grow Snake Plant in Hanging Basket
1. Propagation and Soil
Fill the pot with well-draining, loose, loamy, or sandy soil. You can also use cacti or succulent mix for good drainage. Now make a hole in the center of the pot and carefully place the plant in the basket. Add more soil leaving up to an inch of room for watering.
2. Location
Hang your snake plant on a north or east-facing window. While growing outdoors, choose a location that receives filtered sunlight all day.
3. Watering
